Sandra’s message for Sunday 3rd November

Have you been shopping lately? If so I’m sure you will have noticed the shops are already full of Christmas items. It’s a reminder that the end of another year is fast approaching.
A new Church year begins on the 1st December – Advent!

As we think of new beginnings, we look back on God’s faithfulness, especially in our churches throughout the vacancy.

This week we start to look forward as we welcome Rev Enid. It will be exciting to see what God has planned for our three churches as together we work with her to

Grow in faith
Make Jesus Known
Be His Light.

So as we look back giving thanks to God for all He has done in the past, praising and trusting Him for all He will do in the future the words of this lovely old hymn sums up these thoughts –

How good is the God we adore,
Our faithful unchangeable friend;
His love is as great as His power,
And knows neither measure nor end.

We’ll praise Him for all that is past,
And trust Him for all that’s to come.

Love, Sandra
